South Africa Trip 2007
Sr Emmanuel playing the drums.
Here is Sr Emmanuel at the Thandukuphila Centre enthusiastically playing the drums at the concert held by the children on my last Saturday in South Africa.
At the Thandukuphila Centre.
On my last Saturday in South Africa the children at the Thandukuphila Centre held a concert for Sister Emmanuel and myself. There was much enthusiasm and wonderful dancing and singing by children of all ages even little ones from the crèche.
Myself with three of the orphans at our new indoor feeding centre.
This feeding centre was mostly renovated with funds from One Life. School children come before and after school for food and a daily crèche is also run from here. The centre is manned by African volunteers.

These volunteers and others come daily to work at Hope Project, they prepare and cook food in these enormous cooking vessels on a daily basis. The lady on the right also distributes the food at one of the children's outdoor feeding centres.

Qiniso is sponsored for her education by Chase Lane School, South Chingford. This photo was taken in her classroom in Kwazulu, Natal, South Africa in February this year when I visited her school.

The three eldest children are free from the HIV/AIDS virus but all the younger children are HIV Positive. Nondumosa sitting next to me is on Anti Retroviral drug treatment and is responding well.
