Africa News

On November 22nd I received a phonecall from Sr Emmanuel in S. Africa. She told me that the new feeding centre in the rural area of Nseleni is almost up and running now which will be life saving for the children who live in these remote areas.

It is wonderful to see that the money sent out from One Life is being used for such good and necessary causes. We sent out £1000 to help set up this feeding centre so we are making a big difference to the lives of the children.

Sr Emmanuel also said that the school fees for the Kwazulu AIDS orphans are needed now so as to be paid before the end of the children's school year which in Kwazulu is December 2nd. Unfortunately all the school fees have not yet been paid in so donated monies have been added to the amount raised and £4000 has just been sent out to S.Africa. The remainder of the school fees will be sent out as soon as possible.
