The Appeal for South Africa

I appealed for help for South Africa only a couple of days ago ( 8th July) and I am overwhelmed at the response I am receiving. At the present moment £800 has been donated in response to the appeal.

The exact amount won't be known until early next month when I receive my bank statement as one or two people have donated directly into the One Life bank account.

Having never appealed like this before I had no idea what to expect or if indeed anybody would respond and I am very moved and very grateful to everyone who has responded so quickly and generously.

Thank you you all very much. This money will be used for food for the children and to pay some outstanding bills and if anything is left over, hopefully, will buy a few sweatshirts as the crèche children are very cold and have not got adequate winter clothing.
