A donation for Nancy's medication.

Today, 24th January, I received a phone call from a friend of mine who wishes to remain anonymous. She has transferred £1,200 into the One Life account and this money is to be used solely for Nancy's medication which costs an unbelievable £150 per month which, of course, Nancy does not have so she pays a little on account each month building up a large debt.

Because the medicine is so expensive, Nancy cannot afford to take the full dosage and all too frequently suffers the results of this by becoming very poorly.

One Life will shortly be receiving their annual Gift Aid Return and some of this money will also go to help with Nancy's medication, leaving Nancy able to take the full daily dosage prescribed and also leaving her free of this medical debt she has built up.

Hopefully, with the extra funding shortly being sent, she will start to take the full dosage and feel much better. Without her I do not know how the children would cope or indeed if One Life would be able to continue. We all need Nancy to be well, for her own sake, but also for all the children in her care.

My most grateful thanks go to this friend of mine for her continuous caring and support of Nancy and the children in South Africa. Her donation will be life extending for Nancy, who in the past almost lost a foot due to the diabetes and twice became so poorly it was questionable as to whether she would survive.
