Funds sent out to S. Africa
£4,300 has been sent out to S. Africa within the last two weeks. Of this £1,000 went to Hope Project for the purchase of blankets, one per child for the cold winter evenings.
Another £1,000 also went to Hope Project for the immediate purchase of Oxycell an immune boosting drug for AIDS/HIV sufferers.
A further £1,000 went out to Sr Emmanuel for our emergency fund used for replacement housing, food, education etc and for any other emergencies which occur frequently.
£1,300 went out to The Thandukuphila Centre (Nancy) for the completion of the new feeding centre, also for medecines, food, jerseys and shoes. Most of these are needed for children attending the new feeding centre who live out in the remote rural areas. They are very poor and feeling the cold now that winter has arrived in S. Africa.
