John's visit to our project in South Africa

My apologies, this is a much delayed entry.

Earlier this month (April) John Walker, who last year on a business trip to Capetown South Africa and changed route in Johannesburg and flew down to Richards bay, the airport which is closest to Neleni where our project centre is, returned again to South Africa and once again diverted his trip to put in a short visit to our centre in Nseleni.

John's visits make an enormous difference to my charity One Life as he comes back with up to date news of how things are and what is needed etc and this time he returned with many receipts and letters and drawings for about 30 of the people who sponsor our children's education there.

John told me that although I had told Nancy and Khanya that this visit was to be a short one, on his arrival he found that once again the children were putting on a concert for him which he said was wonderful. he said he could have listened to the singing all day long. John also said that the children were so very excited at the prospect of another visit from him. He took with him hand knitted jumpers etc and also, he said, sweets and lollies and icelollies resulting in very happy children.

John also told me that both Nancy and Khanya were now in much better health which was wonderful to hear.

I am so very grateful to John for making such a special effort to visit Nancy, Khanya and the children when this time his visit to South Africa was such a short one and I pray that next year he may have the opportunity to visit them all again. Thank you John.
