Latest update on support from St Anne's Church.
Yesterday, January 25th I went (as arranged) to the vicarage of St Anne's Church to meet the vicar The Rev Jude Bullock.
The meeting was very successful and rewarding as the vicar showed great interest in supporting One Life. He was very enthusiastic about continuous fundraising for the charity with a view to purchasing one of the two combis/people carriers urgently needed in Kwazulu. He also asked me to return from S. Africa with photos of twenty of our Aids Orphans in need of educational sponsoring. The vicar also mentioned helping us in other areas of need eg funds for medication, hospitalisation etc.
This is wonderful for One Life, a long term commitment of help and I am very grateful to Jude for his caring and desire to help.
On my return from S. Africa I have been invited to give a talk to the parish of St Annes and also to write an article about One Life, how and why we started up and what our aims are and why funding is needed.
One Life , slowly but surely is becoming more and more an established Charity in working towards the relief of suffering of the Kwazula Aid Orphans. We are, with all the wonderful support we receive certainly making a difference.
