A message of thanks from Fr Becki in South Africa
I received this message today, 21st March, from the parish priest connected to Nancy and Khanya in South Africa.
Dear Sister Elena,
My humble appology for getting back to you this late, I got held up, I have a terrible flu but I am now feeling abit better.
On Saturday we had the funeral of Cecil, it was a very big funeral, it had about 1500 people attending it, and they all spoke of Cecil the same, that truly losing him has hurt the family, the church and the community as he was such a caring, kind and supportive person to his family, church and community. Nancy is still not well, but she is taking it one day at the time. Khanya is still in hospital but I hope she will be well soon.
On Sunday we had a huge interdenominational funeral for the children, the families are so grateful for the help they have recieved thru you, the funeral went well and the children were laid to rest finally.
On behalf of Nancy and family, the families of the late children, the church and the community I would like to express our sincere gratitude, and appreciation to you and everyone else that has assisted either in money or in prayers or both, if it wasn't for yours kindness i dont know what we would have done. God bless you all
Kind regards and much love and appreciation from
Fr. B
