More Sad News

The small boy Qiniso who lost his life on April 19th 2013, lived with his siblings and cousins with his grandparents. When the granddad heard of the death of his little grandson he had a heart attack and died a couple of days later.

Qiniso and his granddad were both buried yesterday the 4th May. So much sadness and grief for one family to cope with and now the grandmother is left on her own to care for the children.

One Life was in a position to fund both funerals but to be able to set up a funeral fund at some point would be very helpful as most of the families we help have no money at all for the funerals and sadly the adult or child who dies frequently ends up in a paupers grave and no-one knows where these are.

The charity needs so much financial help to meet all the needs of the people who we aspire to help.

We do all we can to prevent deaths to make the shacks more habitable, to feed everyone and to see that the children have the chance of n education but the funding we receive is never really enough. It is very hard to be aware of so much suffering and at times, unnecessary deaths and not be in a position to give more help.
