More tragic news from Africa

Early this morning, 7th March, I received a text message from Fr Becki the parish priest in South Africa who is keeping me informed about the burials of the children and also as to how Khanya is progressing in hospital and how Nancy is.

Fr Becki texted to say that Nancy's husband Cecil was killed last night in a tragic accident concerned with transport, I do not know the exact details.

I am shocked and initially was in a state of utter disbelief. How can yet another tragedy happen.

I just don't know how Nancy and Khanya will cope with this most tragic loss so personal to them and following the deaths of the seven children.

We are praying that this will not effect Khanya's recovery from the mini stroke and then the epileptic seizures she experienced on Sunday morning.

Please, I ask all who read this message to keep Nancy, Khanya and the rest of their family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
