Three New Donations

On the 19th of March on arriving home from a break in Cornwall I found a cheque had arrived from Susan Weaver, a sponsor who lives on one of Scotland's small islands near to the Isle of Arran.

The cheque was for £1,000 and came as a great and unexpected surprise.

My grateful thanks to Susan. This money will be sent to Africa shortly and is for the purchase of gas for 13 gas cylinders for aged grandparents who look after our orphans and will enable them throughout the worst weather to cook indoors and also to gain a little heat in their shack. The rest of the £1,000 is to build our 6th breeze block house and will also pay for the insulation of the house. This is our newest exciting project, to replace as many ofas possible of our badly broken shacks with these two roomed houses.

At the same time, in thez post, I received a cheque for £25 from one of our sponsors from St Anne's Parish church. This was gratefully received.

The third donation was for £27.50 from St Anne's Women's Fellowship, This was also unexpected and my grateful thanks go to everyon concerned.
