Two Christmas donations

Today, 15th December, I was invited to Larkswood Primary School coffee morning and carol singing event.

This was a really wonderful event full of talented and enthusiastic youngsters singing their hearts out and playing some accompanying bells and other instruments. They were accompanied by Mr Spellman with his guitar. He is the husband of Madeleine Spellman, one of the teachers at the school. he was as equally enthusiastic as the children which made this such an enjoyable occasion.

After the event I was presented with a cheque for £73 which is part of the proceedings the children raised last Thursday singing carols outside Sainsbury's supermarket.

When I arrived home, the postman had been and in one of the Christmas cards from Mr & Mrs Eluned Rees of Wales was a cheque of £100 which was gratefully received and will go a long way to helping these children we care so much about.

My grateful thanks go to Larkswood Primary School and Mr and Mrs Rees for their thoughtfulness and caring of the children in Africa who are living in poverty.
