Two new donations for November

On Friday, November 8th, I received two donations to One Life. The first was from Marisa Mootoosamy and the nurses she works with. They had made cakes and Lasagne and sold both at meetings and to other staff members and raised a magnificent £447.10 for One Life.

The girl who did most of the organising is now in practice for a 100 length swimming marathon also in support and for my charity One Life. I am touched and very grateful for this wonderful support and I am hoping this money can be used to refit two garages when they are emptied, so that Nancy and the children have more indoor space in the bad weather as at the moment the creche children are in a tiny garage space, otherwise all activities and all food taken by the school age children is in a marquis without sides. This gives no warmth and no shelter from driving rain and the bad winds which lately they have endured.

The second donation was from a Turkish friend of mine who did a five mile sponsored walk by herself to raise money for One Life and she raised £83 which together with the £447 will make a big difference to our project in Africa.

My utmost thanks go to all concerned.
