An Unexpected Sudden Death.

Late last month, February 2014, our fourth young man to attend University and who was in his final year, was early one morning found dead in the bathroom.

This came as a most terrible shock to all who knew and loved him. His mother already struggling deeply at the death of her husband several months earlier then at the death of her disabled son in a tragic road accident three months later and has now to try and cope with the death of the last of her family. At the moment she is in a hospital for people with severe anxiety and all that comes with that as she is no longer able to look after herself.

Brendon was an exceptionally kind, loving and very helpful young man. He really was loved by all whose lives he touched including the then parish priest Father Becki who said he felt he had lost a younger brother and who was in deep shock and mourning at his sudden death.

Because Brendon's mother was away and being cared for and no other family members could be found, his body could not be released for burial. Eventually after much searching an old grandmother was found and so his body could be released. There was, of course, no money to bury Brendon but due to a then recent donation, One Life was able to fund most of the funding needed whilst the parishioners of the Father Becki managed to raise the rest of the money needed.

Brendon had a future to look forward to, he was in his final years studying Information Tecnology so had a positive future to look forward to. He wanted so badly to help and support his mother and now all that has been taken from him. We are all deeply saddened at the death of this wonderful young man.
