Update on Nancy

I am in constant contact with Khanya (Nancy's daughter). Yesterday 21st September Nancy went for the results of a biopsy on her spine, where the tumour was.

At the moment she is clear of the cancer but is suffering from chronic kidney failure, the result of diabetes. She may have to go on dialysis in the near future. Also, because of pressure on her spinal discs, for the present moment, she is still in a wheelchair but hopefully this is not a permanent situation.,

Nancy is now on insulin instead of just tablets and for the first time in a long time her sugar levels have settled down. Nevertheless she is not a well lady and we need to keep her in our thoughts and prayers.
