Peace Mala

Pam Evans is the founder of Peace Mala. I first met her three years ago and then again in August 2004 where she became interested in One Life and immediately sponsored a child from me and intoduced me to several other people who also sponsored.

Later in the year she motivated the staff and pupils of Coedcae School where she was employed to raise money for One Life. This they did in a big way and they raised over £700 . To see more visit the Peace Mala website via the link below. Their coverage of the fundraising can be found under their News Desk section. You can also see the fund raising photos on this site under the Galleries section on the right hand side.

Peace Mala is an ethically guided "non profit taking" organisation. All surplus monies are used to promote the vision of the Peace Mala in schools, youth clubs, churches, spiritual centres of all traditions and all places of learning. A Peace Mala is a symbolic bracelet that promotes friendship, respect and peace between the faiths and all people in our world. It cuts through all forms of prejudice and celebrates what makes us different from each other. It is a vision for the future. Wearing the mala is a promise to help create a better world.
