Unexpected donation to Higher Education Fund

Today 21st December I received a bank statement. I was surprised and elated to see a direct credit for £700 for higher education on it.

This is so encouraging for the charity as it is a project so close to my heart and is so important for the future of the children we are trying to help.

I have contacted Africa and hope to receive soon the name of a child who we will put into college this coming year. We have many children who have finished school but are unable to get work and support themselves due to lack of qualifications bacause college and higher education was never a possibility for them.

I hope and pray that we hear from John Humphreys re a grant for higher education and also that our fund grows throughout this coming year. There are many young people needing this kind of help. At least now we have made a start.
