Money to Thandukuphila Centre

Tomorrow the 24th May £1000 will be sent to Nancy of the Thandukuphila Centre for the purchase of track suits for the 75 under school age orphans looked after on a daily basis in our two crèches. Nancy told me that it is freezing cold now in Kwazulu particularly so in the rural areas and that the crèche children are very cold.

The money sent is part of the money raised from this years sponsored walk

Nancy also told me that she and her family have not got enough blankets or food and she needs money for food for the children who come twice a day to the two centres we now run so part of the £1000 will go for the purchase of food and blankets..

I am very grateful to everyone who took part or supported financially the sponsored walk enabling us to respond immediately to the urgent needs of Nancy and the children.
