Grants for the carers of the children we sponsor/school leavers and new children for sponsoring.

I have just received notification from the Thankdukuphila Centre that some of the carers of the children we sponsor out in South Africa have just received a grant for the care of the children. This grant will also be used for school fees/uniform so these children will no longer need our educational support though many will still attend the centre for food twice a day.

Because of the grants and the four children leaving school at the end of this year we are able to support 51 new children in need of our help. This is wonderful news.

I leave for Africa in three weeks time on Apri 3rd and will be able to bring back with me photos and background information of these children for their sponsors.
