One Life Sponsored Walk

Last Saturday 11th October One Life held their annual sponsored walk. It was a glorious day, warm and sunny, perfect for the walk. We walked in St James Park and the trees and shrubs surrounding the lake were magnificent in their autumn colours. Squirrels were bounding around, very tame, sitting at peoples feet and asking for food. The Pelicans and other bird life was wonderful to see and it was a magical day, enjoyed by all who took part in the walk.

Sadly this year our numbers were down due to holidays, anniversaries and sickness but support has been wonderful and for my taking part I have already been sponsored for just over £600.

Whatever we raise will do so much good in Africa to alleviate the poverty and suffering. The total amount raised will be published on this site at a later date.
