How the latest donations are to be spent

I spoke this morning February 12th to Nancy of the Thandukuphila Centre. She was delighted to hear about the the latest donations of £5000 and £200. The donations have come at just the right time as the fridge at the centre has broken down and the food for the children has badly deteriorated and a new fridge is needed urgently.

Nancy and I are both in agreement that £2,500 should go into the higher education fund enabling another young person to go to college next year and so have a positive chance of a better future to look forward to.

The rest of the money is needed for nappies for the many babies cared for at the centre and for electricity, shack repair, blankets and mattresses for the coming cold winter and a lawnmower is also needed at our new centre in the more rural area of Nseleni.
