News from S Africa

I received an email from Nancy at the Thandukuphila Centre yesterday morning 20th May. Nancy has listed what the last money we sent out was used for.

Tracksuits for winter for the children
Disposable nappies
Baby formula and cereals
Installation of electricity to five more shacks
Ongoing renovation of shacks and repair to the damage done by the latest hail storm.
Blankets for 19 families.
Food for £500 needed or the crèche children and the ones who come before and after school to eat.

Money is also needed to pay the salary of Rebecca who works closely with Nancy and now is only employed part time due to lack of funding in S. Africa.
