Swansea Football Club

Yesterday July 22nd I heard from Alun Cowie who is the general manager of Swansea Football Club.

This gentleman already sponsors a child educationally through One Life and is now sending us some footballs strips for me to send out to the boys in Kwazulu South Africa who are sponsored educationally through the charity.

Some of our boys are traumatised through losing parents and siblings to the AIDS Virus and emotionally this affects their school work. What we have found is that many of these young people excel at sport, particularly football and it is these young people who the strips will go to.

I am now looking in to a way in which we can send goods to South Africa at a lesser cost than Royal Mail. Also if we use a courier then the goods will arrive in a short space of time and will not get lost or sabotaged in the post.
