The Annual Sponsored Walk

The time has come around again for our Annual Sponsored Walk. This is to be held on Saturday September 25th.

As always we meet just before 11am in Trafalgar Square near the coffee shop. It is a great meeting place and time permitting it's a good time to meet a little early, enjoy a coffee together and take the photos before the walk commences.

We will walk down The Mall towards Buckingham Palace and at the bottom turn left into St James Park where we do two laps round the park then stop for a lunch break, most people bringing a packed lunch. We then, after a reasonable break, finish the last two laps and for those people who think four laps round a park is not much, well, try it. It is a good feeling to be starting the last lap.

At the end of the walk people are free to just go off and do their own thing but some of us meet up and , weather permitting, sit in the sun under the trees and just enjoy the rest of the day with friends.

It is always an enjoyable event and the outcome is more very necessary funding for the Aids orphans in Kwazulu, Natal.
