More funds to South Africa

Tomorrow,8th June, £1,500 is being transferred to South Africa. the majority of this is for the much needed repairs and rebuilding of the shacks and mud huts so badly damaged in the latest bouts of flooding.

Many of our children are quite unwell due to the Aids Virus and their carers are mostly aged grandparents or older siblings or just occassionally a living parent. Sadly these parents are mostly terminally ill. To live without electricity and running water, to be with out adequate clothing, bedding and sometimes food, makes life extremely depressing and difficult.

Thanks to the wonderful results of the appeal we now can make the shacks and huts safe and dry and help to make these difficult lives more bearable.
