Response to the Appeal from St Anne's Parish Church
Today, August 26th, I went to the 10am church service held at St Anne's Parish Church.
The Rev Jude Bullock, the vicar, spoke at the service about this latest tragedy which has affected two of our sponsored young girls (sisters). Early one morning during last week they were found frozen together in each others arms. The eldest girl, Thandeka, was dead and the younger girl Mbali was just alive and is now in ICU in hospital fighting for her life.
The community at st Anne's had a collection at the end of the service and have donated a wonderful £250 to help with the purchase of duvets and gas cylinders etc. Two other parishioners donated money prior to the collection and this amounted to another £250 making the final total an amazing £500
I am very grateful to St Anne's, the vicar and the congregation for their continuous support and caring towards my charity One Life.
