Goods to South Africa

Over the last couple of months we have been sending out lots of goods to Nancy for the AIDS orphans in South Afrioca.

These have included over 100 knitted hats, some jerseys, t shirts, books for Christmas for the crèche, wind up torches and a 21 kg package sent by courier at the end of last month (October).

A welcome donation.

Today Nov 3rd I received a cheque for £100 from Christine Foster of Walthamstow.

Christine said that this donation may be useful to help with postage of goods to South Africa.

A very unexpected donation

Last week on October 12th I heard I would be receiving an anonymous donation of £1000 for the charity in aid of the children in S Africa.
I am overwhelmed at this generous gift and what a difference this will make at Christmas time for Nancy and the children in her care.

The gift of dresses

Here are the photos of some of the children wearing the dresses sent by Rosemary Faupel. It has been an exciting time for the children receiving the dresses, the doll and other gifts for the crèche from Rosemary and myself.
