Gifts from UK arrived in Africa

I have just received photos from Africa of some of the children with gifts send out by sponsors here in the UK. Many parcels of warm hats knitted by Eira and Jenny from St Anne's Parish Church have now arrived for the children in S Africa.

I heard a few days ago on Sept 22nd that Nancy's husband collapsed and was rushed by his son and daughter to hospital where he was diagnosed with Diabetes, so now both Nancy and him are sufferers.

Update on the Sponsored Walk

Today, September 25th, we held the charity's Annual Sponsored Walk in the city of London.

Sr Emmanuel has been transferred

On September the 13th Sr Emmanuel was transferred from Empangeni, where she has lived and worked for many years in the small community of Dominican Nuns, to Pietermaritzberg. Due to her age, she will be 86 next April, and to her frailty and the crumbling of her spine making her wheelchair bound she now needs looking after.

An unexpected donation
