A Wonderful Unexpected Donation

This evening, 26th March, I have received a cheque for £1,000 for Africa. It has been donated by John Neighbour of Chingford,. He heard only today about the sad happenings in South Africa ie the seven children who died when a wall collapsed on top of them and also the sudden and tragic death of Nancy's husband Cecil.

Chase lane Primary School raise funding for One Life.

Today, 23rd March, I received a cheque for £83.51p from Chase Lane primary School and Nursery Unit.

The money was mainly raised by Class 1SJ from a recycling project.

I received this message today, 21st March, from the parish priest connected to Nancy and Khanya in South Africa.

My humble appology for getting back to you this late, I got held up, I have a terrible flu but I am now feeling abit better.

Today, 14th March, I am transferring the £4,000 donated money to the account in South Africa.

Wonderful donations to the Burial Fund

Today, 12th March, I received a cheque for £2,000 from Val Phillpott of Bridlington, Yorkshire.

This is such a wonderful amount of money and Val said it is in response to my telling her about the tragic happenings in S Africa over these last few weeks. She said the money should be used for where ever it was most needed.
