Early this morning, 7th March, I received a text message from Fr Becki the parish priest in South Africa who is keeping me informed about the burials of the children and also as to how Khanya is progressing in hospital and how Nancy is.
Today the 4th March I received a phone call from a Dr Patel. he is the father of Dr Sanjay Patel who was out in South Africa at the same time as myself three years ago and who I took to meet Nancy and Khanya and the children who we help.
Today,2nd March, I received news from S Africa. Two of our children from the tragic accident have now been buried. Sadly one other child died last Sunday morning making the number of children who died seven in all.
As of today, February 24th, and with the latest donation received, the shack repair fund has risen to approx £2,000, I won't know the exact figure until I receive the One Life stateemnt early next month.
