Another unexpected donation

Today May 7th I received an unexpected donation of £500 towards the repair of the computer in South Africa or the purchase of a new one if the one hit by lightning really is irreparable.

The person who donated this most generous amount wishes to remain anonymous.

News from S Africa.

I have just received a text from Khanya, Nancy's daughter in Kwazulu, Natal, South Africa.

The computer has been struck by lightning and is irreparable which is such bad news. Because it is an act of God it is doubtful that we will get a payout from the insurance.

Unexpected Donations

This month, April, I have received two unexpected donation. One donation of £20 came from Lesley Worstencoft in aid of her cousin's birthday and the second donation came from Janice Collier, this was for £50 and was money donated by friends for her birthday.

Another unexpected donation

Today, April the 14th , I received an unexpected donation of £400. The person who donated this wonderful sum of money wishes to remain anonymous.

This money comes at a time of great need for Nancy and the children of Kwazulu and will be so helpful in the work we are trying to do. It is received with sincere gratitude.

Charity Auction/Ploughman's Supper

We are holding our 4th Charity Auction/Ploughman's Supper on Saturday May 15th. This is to be held in St Anne's Church Hall, Chingford. Tickets are £8 per person and can be purchased by contacting Elena by phone or email, details on the Contact Us page. Times are 7-30pm for 8-00pm start finishing at approx 10pm.
