Nancy of the Thandukuphila Centre

I have received news from South Africa (August) that Nancy (Project Manager) of the Thandukuphila Centre is slowly recovering her health.

Result of Sponsored Walk

£2078.25 has been raised from the Sponsored Walk held on May 12th. There is a possibility of late funds still arriving and I would like to thank everyone for their wonderful and fruitful efforts.

Money to Africa

Tomorrow the 12th of June £650 will be sent to Hope Project for the purchase of jumpers for some of the orphans and bricks to help in the building of a new place to sleep for the family I visited in February whose shack was full of holes.

Nancy of the Thandukuphila Centre

I phoned Nancy in Kwazulu, Natal yesterday evening (30thMay). Her daughter Khanya answered the phone and told me that her mum, Nancy, is really quite ill at the moment. Since the worries around the keeping of the Thandukuphila Centre she has lost about three stones in weight which has affected her Diabetes quite badly.

Money to Thandukuphila Centre

Tomorrow the 24th May £1000 will be sent to Nancy of the Thandukuphila Centre for the purchase of track suits for the 75 under school age orphans looked after on a daily basis in our two crèches. Nancy told me that it is freezing cold now in Kwazulu particularly so in the rural areas and that the crèche children are very cold.
