Result of Small Grant Application

Unfortunately a negative result was had from the Small Application Grant applied for to Kitchen Tables Charity. What I weas unaware of on application was that grants are for Primary Education not Higher Education so my application did not fit the criteria.

Donation from Chase Lane School

In December Chase Lane School, South Chingford raised £356.92 for One Life at their Christmas Nativity Play. The money was donated by parents, carers and staff members.

This is a wonderful amount and will be used for education, medication and food. Our grateful thanks go to all involved.

Unexpected donation to Higher Education Fund

Today 21st December I received a bank statement. I was surprised and elated to see a direct credit for £700 for higher education on it.

This is so encouraging for the charity as it is a project so close to my heart and is so important for the future of the children we are trying to help.

Ploughman's Supper/Auction Fund Raising Event.

On Monday the 11th of December I was invited to the house of Barbara and Paul Carter two parishioners from St Anne's Parish Church who each sponsor one of our orphans. Also invited was Penny Rolfe, another parishioner who also sponsors one of our children.
