This morning September 16th a mini tabletop sale including the sale off my handmade greetings cards was held in St Anne's Church hall after the Harvest Service which was held in brilliant sunshine in the vicarage garden.
One Life is in the process of applying for a £5000 grant for a group of African Women connected to Hope Project. They urgently require a small building with about four rooms in order to set up a place for Aids Counselling for women and children affected by the Aids Virus.
On August 21st £650 will be sent to the Thandukuphila Project Bank Account as at the moment the holding account there for One Life funding has been totally depleted due to the urgent needs of the children for blankets, tracksuits, food etc during the extremely severe winter which they experienced this year.
Penny Rolfe of St Anne's Church phoned on August 19th to say that on Sunday September 16th after the Harvest Service she will be holding a small Table Top Sale in the church hall in aid if One Life.
I have been invited along to sell my Handmade greeting cards and African bracelets etc.
