I am in constant contact with Khanya (Nancy's daughter). Yesterday 21st September Nancy went for the results of a biopsy on her spine, where the tumour was.
The sponsored walk held last Saturday September 17th went well. The weather was very kind to us and we managed to have a lunch break sitting in deckchairs in the sun.
The yearly sponsored walk will be held on Saturday 17th September.
We will meet between 10-30am and 10-45am at the coffee shop in Trafalgar Square and at around 11am walk to St James Park where we will do four laps of the park with a lunch break after two laps.
When Khanya emailed today, August 6th, about her mum Nancy, she also told me about the young boy in Africa, fighting for his life due to a tree crashing down on the shack he lives in, killing his young brother and leaving him fighting for his life with terrible head injuries.
