On December 31st money was sent out to Africa for the insulation of the five breeze block houses built for families living in the worst conditions imaginable.
These houses now need insulating and I thought it would be a good idea if five young male school leavers could learn how to do this job themselves.
Today, December 20th, I received an email from Andy Crawford, the treasurer at St Anne's parish church, to say that £158 was now being transferred into the One Life Charity account
This was the last of the outstanding money from the auction held at St Annes on Saturday October the 19th.
Yesterday, December 20th, I received a wonderful donation of £100 from Val HIggins of Swansea, South Wales. This was part of a Christmas present to her husband John and was greatfully received by One Life.
