Two Donations Received

Today, the 29th August, I received two donations.  £100 donation from Anna Barnard of Suffolk, and £50 donation from Reg Dicks of Bridlington.

These donations are gratefully received, as yesterday, quite unexpectedly £1300 had to be sent out to Africa, depleting our funds somewhat.

Sponsor For Abandoned Baby

Yesterday the 25th August, Julie Adesina of St Anne's parish Church became the sponsor for baby Princess, the baby left on Nancy's doorstep approx three weeks ago.

News Of nanny And Khanya

I heard a couple of days ago, 8th August, that although Nancy and Khanya are both still in hospital that both are improving and hopefully one or both of them will be home shortly.

Baby's Mother Found.

I heard yesterday,9th August, that the mother of the baby abandoned on Nancy's doorstep has been found by the police. Very sadly she had already died before they could get help for her.

Social Services have made Nancy the baby's legal guardian as that is what the mother had wanted.

Funding For Another House To Be Built.

Today the 6th August I found on my July statement the £400 promised by Rosemary Faupel of Cambridge.

Earlier in July Rosemary had told me that she would be donating this amount of money and it is specifically for the building of a two roomed breeze block house for one of our most needy families living in a broken down shack.
