I have just spoken to Nancy by phone and I am sending another £2000 out to her this morning. £1000 is to pay half of Rebecca's salary (Nancy's helper) and the other £1000 is towards shack repairs and blankets etc as it is now wintertime in South Africa and very cold in the evenings where the children stay.

I phoned South Africa this morning and spoke to Nancy of the Thandukuphila Centre who told me that they were really struggling at the moment financially. The Welfare Department who are supposed to donate money in order to feed the crèche children and the children who come before and after school to the centre for food had failed to do so.
