Since the onset of the charity, five years ago we have sent out to South Africa just short of £105,000.

Quite an achievement, I think, for a small charity.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the charity. May we continue to do well in the future.

Money to S Africa

Today in response to the email from S Africa received this morning, 8th October I have sent out to the Thandukuphila Centre £13,700 which should arrive out there in approx 10 days time.

I have received news from S Africa that the school fees for next year that is January 2010 have now to be paid to the schools before 31st October this year. The alternative is to remove our children from the schools if the fees are not paid on time.

The Backpacks arrived at last!

Ann Booth of Camden, London posted out a large supply of backpacks for the children of The Thandukuphila Centre about four months ago.

After about three months we thought they must have got stolen or lost in the post because of the long postal strike in the Thandukuphila area.
