School fees to Africa

Today November the 9th £7,600 has been sent out to Kwazulu. This money is for school fees, uniform and books. Sadly once again not everyone has sent their money in on time so money from donated funds has had to be used instead of being used for medecines etc.

Donation by St Ann's parish church, Chingford.

A short while ago the charity received £180 from the parishioners of St Ann';s church situated here in Chingford. This was a Lenten appeal on behalf of One Life and was gratefully received.

A big thank you to the Rev. Jude and his parishioners.

A cheque for £100 was received a short while ago from Rosie Faupel. This money was raised by goods sold at a car boot sale. Rosie is already collecting items for another car boot sale to be held early next year, the proceeds to come to One Life.

Sale of cards and bracelets at St Ann's Church

This morning October 15th I went down to St Ann's Church to give a short talk on One Life after the morning service held by the Rev. Jude Bullock. I was also invited to sell handmade cards and African bracelets/wristbands in aid of the charity.

This went very well and £100 - 20p was raised in a very short space of time.
