On November 22nd I received a phonecall from Sr Emmanuel in S. Africa. She told me that the new feeding centre in the rural area of Nseleni is almost up and running now which will be life saving for the children who live in these remote areas.

Wristband update

The Charity wristbands are now availabe for purchase. They arrived yesterday (October 19th) and I am very pleased with them. They are in the melded colours of red yellow green white and black.

Embossed on them are the words ONE LIFE for AFRICA

On Tuesday evening (October 18th) I received more sad news from S. Africa. Another one of our sponsored children has died from AIDS. Her name was Lucia Simelane and she was 13 years old. Her grandmother having lost Lucia's parents to AIDS is now suffering the grief of losing her grandaughter.
