Funding Arrived In South Africa.

I heard this morning, January 30th, that a couple of days ago the latest money transferred to the account in South Africa, had arrived.

The mattresses and bedding for the aged carer grandparents have been purchased and given out and they were received with great joy and thankfulness by all in need.

Another Death and More Sickness For Another Of Our Children In South Africa

Last Wednesday one of our sponsored teenagers was buried having collapsed and died suddenly a few days earlier from unsuspected heart failure.

Funding sent to Africa

On January 17th £2,750 was transferred to the account in South Africa. This was for the purchase of stationary for the children returning to school after the Christmas break. This was needed urgently as the school/uniform/stationary money was not sufficient as the school fees went up a while ago.

£100 Received From Penyrheol Primary School.

Today, 11th January, I received from Alison Williams, head of Penyrheol Primary School in Swansea, £100 raised from the sale of the bracelets made and donated to One Life by Wendy Tomkins of Kings Heath, Birmingham.

My most grateful thanks go to Wendy for making the bracelets and also to Alison for selling them, on behalf on One Life.

Yet Another Donation from AD Charitable Trust

Today, 9th January, I received another wonderful donation from Mary Rose Grey, account director and trustee of AD Charitable Trust.

I was truly shocked and overwhelmed when this cheque arrived totally unexpectedly.
